Everything that happened was all according to Nakago's plans. Tomo causes the other of the Suzaku to fall into his trap. Tamahome finally catches up with Miaka and runs into Nakago who insinuates that he has "coupled" with Miaka. Tamahome attacks Nakago and actually wounds him with a red lightning.
