Meanwhile, Makoto (Konno Ayaka) has begun living with her boss, Odagiri (Totsuka Shota). The two gradually grow closer as they spend peaceful time together, eating breakfast together and shopping for daily necessities. However, at the shopping mall, she encounters her junior colleague, Aina (Hoshino Yumena). In the face of Aina's relentless harassment, Ren resolutely protects Makoto. Touched by Ren's great kindness, Makoto begins to realize that she has special feelings for him, but pretends not to notice these feelings and continues looking for a new home.
